Harvest Festival 2008
On Tuesday 14th October we held our Harvest Festival in the school hall. All of the children took part, singing harvest songs and showing some work at it was watched by a large number of parents who we thank for attending. Father Peter and Royston attended from St Luke's Church to speak to the children.
Some of our kind donations that we will be giving to worthy causes in Grimethorpe.
Year 3 started our Harvest Festival with a dance based on the music by Vivaldi:
Children from the Early Years Unit made the audience smile by singing some of their Harvest songs:

Three of the Festival narrators: Brandon Lucas, Tyler Leese and Morgan Hawley.
Children from Year 5 read some poems they had written in Literacy.
Year 6 finished by reading out some Harvest prayers.
