Friends of Milefield
The Parent, Teacher & Friends Association (PTFA) known as ‘Friends of Milefield’ are a registered charity (Charity Number: 1155357).
We are a small group of staff and parents who strive to raise funds to support and enhance the learning of children at Milefield Primary School. Money raised by the PTFA supports and subsidises the costs of school visits, visiting speakers and a range of resources to benefit the children and their learning.
Our aim over the next year is to use the money we raise from PTFA events to purchase a new sound and lighting system with microphones for the use at concerts, discos etc.
Now we are fully established we are looking forward to planning and hosting a range of exciting fundraising events to benefit pupils at Milefield.
As part of our organisation we are registered with www.traded.org
Traded.org is a great fundraiser for schools and a brilliant online marketing platform for businesses.
If you own or work for a small business you maybe interested in supporting us through this website. Companies pay into supporting the school then they get promoted by traded.
