Eco Committee

A group of pupils took part in a sustainability audit and looking at pollution in our school and local area. They enjoyed working with a specialist and testing our water in school. Trips in Autumn:

Key Stage One – Piglets Adventure Park York

Our pupils in Key Stage One were lucky enough to fly on a magical sleigh to meet Santa in an enchanted wood. They sent their letters to Santa, told him in person what they would like and received a magical key to a toy shop where they could choose whatever they wanted! All pupils thoroughly enjoyed their trip and meeting Santa! Below are some pictures from our trip:

Pantomime – M & M Productions – In school November 2023

All pupils in school were invited into the magical story of Snow White & The Seven Dwarves run by M & M. Pupils were captivated by the storyline and the engaging acting and

dancing! Some teachers even joined in!

Eldon Lights Bright Nights Project – Saturday 25th November 2023

Class 5 and 5/6 were lucky enough to take part in the Bright Nights project with Amazelab and Eldon Nights. Children designed and created their own LED light sequence badges and flags for the parade. They then stitched these onto their own t shirts and wore them with pride in the parade on Saturday 25th November. The turn out for Milefield was fantastic and it was lovely to see their designs in the parade with so many people there!
