In PSHCE, we follow the National Curriculum programmes of study. As a school, we build on Literacy and Maths skills taught throughout their time in primary school. Wherever possible, we link learning throughout the curriculum to a theme or a class novel.

Foundation Stage 1 have been learning lots about our minds and how to keep them healthy. The children have really enjoyed taking part in exercising, making fruit smoothies and listening to the Colour Monster story and helping him to sort out his muddled feelings.
The whole school got involved with Children in Need 2019! They took part in Joe Wick's Big Morning Move in our assembly and thoroughly enjoyed it. It was also fantastic to raise money for a good cause, thank you to all who contributed.
We have been supporting Odd Socks Day and Anti-Bullying week. In the EYFS the children have created anti-bullying posters, explored what it means to be kind and how to be a good friend to others.
Year 6 visit to Crucial Crew - November 2019
On Friday 15th November, Year 6 visited South Yorkshire Crucial Crew. They learnt vital life skills including: road safety, public transport use, knife crime laws, the law system and judicial system, fire safety in the home and what crime exploitation is. We even learnt how to put someone in the recovery position if needed. They all went home with lots of information about how to stay safe as they mature and grow. Below are some pictures of them in the court room scenario. Please come and speak to us about our experiences and what we remember...
