At Milefield Primary School, we take the safety of our pupils very seriously. It is our prime concern. In an increasingly technological world, pupils are spending more time online and using mobile devices to play games and interact with others in the wider world.
Make sure your parents/carers know what you are using and check your accounts regularly. Treat your login details like your toothbrush, don't share them with anyone!
Remember- you are not alone! No matter what anyone says to you. We can always help at school too. If you would like to speak, here are the key people in school you can speak to:
- A trusted friend
- A teacher/ teaching assistant
- Mr. McClure (Online safety leader/Deputy Head)
- Mrs Underhay (Deputy Online safety lead)
- Mrs Trickett (Acting Headteacher)
- Miss Jones (Pupil Welfare Lead)
Do not suffer in silence! Remember, abuse of any kind is unacceptable! We do not stand for it at Milefield. CEOP is the Child Exploitation Online Protection service and they have report abuse buttons which link straight to the police. They have very useful websites here:
The report abuse button looks like this:
